Jacob was born and raised in Reeders, Pennsylvania, with an awesome family. It was here that they learned to love the forest and the multitude of organisms that call it home. Many of these early days were spent training their hyperactive imagination by making up new games for their younger brothers to play.
After studying biology in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, they journeyed to Providence, Rhode Island, accompanied by their best friends. Here, they’ve learned a lot about what it takes to keep an intentional community healthy and thriving. They’re currently figuring out how to inspire folks to learn and care about their world through biology, ecology, and storytelling.
On a day to day basis, Jacob can be found listening to groovy music, homebrewing roleplaying games, reading science fiction, and taking lots of naps. They don’t believe in favorites, but recently they sure do love learning about insects, birds, and mushrooms. In their journey so far, there’s only one thing that Jacob is certain of: life... is worth living!
